I got a newsletter recently that piqued my interest. It was from Boundless-Travel.com.

I can’t remember if this is something I signed up for, or if someone just put me on a list, but I saw that they are looking for writers.

Asking for free content for their newsletter is not an original idea and the jury is still out on what I think of them in general;but I thought their call for radio scriptwriters was original and worth passing on.

Submissions to iTours.
If you are a radio scriptwriter (or aspire to be one) we would like to hear from you. Most of our work is custom so we rarely pay for a pre-existing script. However, we do contract with scriptwriters who excel at writing for broadcast and enjoy travel. The first step is to look over our iTours website and see what style and content we need. If you think your work would be a good fit, email us with samples of past work. iTours writers are compensated.

  1. I think I sent you info about them a while back–although I can’t remember where I found out about it myself!

  2. Amy, OK, that makes sense. I sort of remembered that, but the website looks completely different now. The two sites, if I remember correctly, give separate messages. The previous one, maybe because of the PW connection seemed more literary. This one, seems like any other start up travel website. Colorful. Blocky. A pain to get to the content.

I’ll keep trying it. What do you think of it so far? Here’s the thing, for me, I have to spend more time to figure it out. And I don’t have that kind of time. But I will look at their book section. That will be easy for me to evaluate on a one off.
