Last month, Tony Wright launched CraftyTraveler, which aims to offer “honest assessments of travel destinations and activities– written by travelers for travelers, and edited by a web content geek.”

Tony welcomes submissions and is offering $20 per accepted article or writers can pass on the $20 for a 1/40 chance at $800. The first drawing should take place in the next month or so, depending on the number of writers who chose that option.

Tony loves getting articles with a few good related photos, and says they don’t have to be professional shots. Generally, the reason that he passes on an article is that it doesn’t provide enough detail for travelers. Check out some of the articles recently posted to see the format he is looking for.
