Travel writer Erik Trinidad is putting together a guide and anthology under a micropublishing venture, World Swirl Press. We put out this call previously, but he is still looking for contributors with narrative and service-y pieces about travel scams – pickpocket scams, bait and switches, frauds, false accusations…1,000 words or less. The deadline has been extended until the end of January this year, so get your submissions in ASAP. Right now there isn’t a whole lot of information about when the book will be published (sometime in 2009) or the pay (though, there will be pay apparently).

Send all written contributions as attachments (RTF or Word documents) to submit[at]worldswirl.com. Include your contact information in the actual attachment. Also provide a short biographical paragraph about yourself as a traveler and a writer.
