Distant Landshas become one of my faves. Louann and Angel are always good to me. They were out of Sand so I stopped by while I was in LA to bring them some signed copies. She took ten and said they go fast when she puts them right by the cash register. Louann showed me where, and I tell you we can’t afford to buy that good of real estate.
Here’s a picture of the pink bramobile out front when she was still breathing. Over the weekend I had her checked out by yet another mechanic that said she’s too dangerous to drive.
So I left it to pretty up the neighborhood in University City (San Diego) while I’m gone. Now I’m in a black Mercury that has the worst cruise control I’ve ever experienced. Look, I’m already complaining. Ok, will try to catch up more tonight if I’m in a hotel. Tonight I’m in Santa Fe.
