So, the book title saga continues. We asked the sales reps and some family members and so far it has come back unanimously that the title we’ve been talking about for the last few days, isn’t the favorite.

The People’s Choice is:

Hold My Purse While I Kick Your Ass:
Funny Women Write From The Road

And we want to sell books. Lots of books. At this point, I don’t really care too terribly much which of the two titles it is. Sand in my bra cracks me up, but I was the one who originally thought of Hold My Purse…so I don’t lose either way. What I care about is the cover treatment. Which one will have the better cover. And I mean better in the sense of–grabbing your attention from the shelf or table.

As for the content, there is probably only one or two stories of truly tough chicks. Follow along with this soap opera, because I assure you, it’s not over yet! And that could also mean that they’ll get this manuscript, not think it’s funny, and have us re-assemble it so it reflects the new title. Who knows.

  1. Personally, I don’t like either of those titles…but, I am probably not the audience you are targetting, am I? Who are you targetting? Have you asked folks from that group what they think?
