A Passion for Travel will be held in Reykjavik from September 8-10, 2005. From the looks of it, this gathering seems like it could be the Sundance of the travel writing world. The scheduled speakers list is an impressive lineup of top-notch travel photographers, publishers, editors, journalists and writers. The three day program takes place at the Nordic House.
And here’s the best part: as long as you can get yourself there and find accommodation, admission to the summit is absolutely free! The event is sponsored by Icelandic Geographic, and they strongly urge those attending from overseas to register in advance to secure a seat.
