It’s no wonder they are hiring freelancers, vnunet.com reported on the 12th that they just slashed 2,200 jobs. Yikes.

Indeed, it’s an interesting time to be a freelancer and we may seem to be picking up work where fulltimers lose out. On the flip side BT are currently laying off contractors. I’m sure that each business is approaching cost saving in a different way.
