The Symposium for Professional Travel Writers will take place August 27-31, 2003 at the highly acclaimed resort, The Greenbrier. Created and directed by Antonia Allegra, this is the first year The Symposium has been held.
It is not clear to me if there will be byline police administering who is a professional travel writer and who is not, but by all means try and get in on this conference if you can. It’d be like going on holiday and talking shop with some of the nation’s most respected travel journalists.

Mary Alice Kellogg, a veteran travel writer who’s writing has appeared in Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, GQ, TV Guide, Ladies Home Journal, More, the New York Post and Diversion, among other publications.
