I’ve been following some discussion on this site through my WorkForWriters listserve. Basically it’s a website where subscribers offer up work to be bid on and sell the project in reverse auction style. Naturally, subscribing freelancers have the opportunity to get some freelance work.
They have a variety of projects in their Marketplace ranging from writing, production, design, web work, business strategies, legal work, advertising, audio-video — and what interests me, travel planning and event planning.
The basic subscription fee for freelancers is $70/month or $140 for the quarter plus 5% of what you make from the projects (double check that for accuracy). I’m thinking about signing up, but first I’m going to monitor it and see which projects are going for what rates.
If you are a technical writer why not sign up at the site I work for..Its a technical outsourcing forum were professionals can post and find work.. And its completely free at the moment.

Books
Dear Writer, Editor,
Books about AutoCAD, AutoLISP, Solid Edge, Microsoft
Office programs, Visual Basic for Applications, and
Visual Basic.
Those are the books that I’ve written. But they need
some editing. Maybe the grammar is not correct. Or
something else is wrong.
Anybody interested in working on my books? Let me know.
You can send me an e-mail. Use this e-mail address:

Hello Jos,
Good luck with your book projects. I can’t help you, but maybe one of the other editors reading this site will contact you.
