Journalists reading:

Tom Clynes: is contributing editor for National Geographic Adventure, and author of the book “Wild Planet: 1,001 Extraordinary Events for the Inspired Traveler.” His stories have also appeared in Popular Science, Backpacker, Men’s Journal, New York magazine, and The Washington Post, among other publications

Janine di Giovanni: has worked for 17 years reporting wars and conflicts before moving to Paris, where she now writes books and columns and is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. She has won four major journalism awards, including the National Magazine Award, two Amnesty International Awards and Britain’s Foreign Correspondent of the Year.

Stanley Mieses: is a writer, editor and broadcast commentator and native New Yorker who rarely travels without packing his own pillows. He is a former staff writer for the New Yorker and features editor of New York Newsday, and currently is a regular commentator on several National Public Radio programs.

Beth Levine: is a writer who contributes to Reader’s Digest, Redbook, and Beliefnet.com, among many others. She is the author of many essays, one of which is included in the recent book, “Blindsided by a Diaper,” published by Three Rivers Press.
