Travelers' Tales is turning up the heat for Sand in My Bra this summer. We just got the budget ok to expand the tour to Denver and Chicago. Tattered Cover and The Savvy Traveller are two of the most respected independent bookstores in the country, and I've always looked up to them. Now to make the calls and see when they'll have room for us. Especially TC because my friend Don has been the long standing travel book buyer there and we meet for coffee every year at BEA. I hope he’s still there considering after seven years I’ll finally get out to his neck of the woods.
