If you love blogging and have a keen interest in hotels, HotelChatter.com is hiring. I was writing for them this past winter and spring and had fun doing it. It’s fun writing. Gossip. Not stiff formula stuff.

Just be sure you’re doing this for the bylines and increased exposure to your writing. They are paying, but it’s not much. More of an honorarium.

Hiring Details from Owner Mark Johnson

HotelChatter is a daily web publication that chronicles hotel stories from around the world. We have been mentioned in Time, USA TODAY, Boston Globe, SJ Merc, and many online blogs.

We are looking for writers that grok blogging (having a blog is a good
start), love hotel stories, and can contribute on a daily basis.

What you get: A byline on all your stories (our site is read by
industry professionals, travelers and many large media outlets), and a rate.
How many blogs pay you?

Story quota and rate TBD, but we start folks off in the shallow end and
see what they can do over a month or two.

Writers must have a broadband connection, digital camera, and want to write
on a daily basis.

Where you are is not important for this gig, however, connections to
FLA, LA, and NY would be helpful.

Please send three sample story entries and your resume to help@hotelchatter.com for consideration.

Please visit https://www.hotelchatter.com for voice and style.
