1.) Road & Travel, an automotive and travel magazine aimed at women consumers, is seeking an editorial assistant/general office helper for their Ryal Oak, Michigan office.
Requirements: Training and/or experience in journalism, copy-editing, knowledge of any web design programs, HTML knowledge/experience, SEO knowledge, and computer skills in resume. Position has growth potential to evolve into full time associate editor.

2.) The Tico Times based in San Jose, Costa Rica is looking for a bilingual reporter. While this isn’t a travel writing gig per se, I’ve seen quite a few writers with this paper move on to bigger travel writing gigs.
Requirements: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree. Economics or business background a plus.
