They are in the process of selecting the winners and you can help. (Deadline Oct 31, 2004). There are three finalists. Unfortunately, I’m on dial up and it’s too slow for me to go look at.
But good luck if you decide to apply in the future. This world is a lot better off with more people trying to protect and enhance our natural environment.
And what do the winners get?
“The recipients must demonstrate a clear connection between their endeavors and tourism. The recipients of each award will receive a cash prize of $20,000. In addition, to accept the award each recipient will receive one round trip airline ticket and 2-night accommodations to the 2004 USTOA Annual Conference, held in December 2004.
