  1. I was just reading another travel writing site where the discussion boards are full of comments about dealing with difficult editors.

But Jeff is a fantastic editor to work with — from promptly responding to your query to including the writer in the final edit of a piece. As well, Student Traveler is a quality product. Continued success!

  2. awww…shucks. Thanks gals. it was good to work with both you too. Its easy when writers provide solid articles.

  3. I hope some of that luck rubs off on me. I have published short stories and health articles. I hope to break into travel articles. I contacted Jeff. Wish me luck

  4. Dusty,

If you wish, I would be interested in your story for the http://www.transitionabroad.com website for which I am web content editor (my father is copy editor of Transitions Abroad magazine).

I am interested in any stories by those who haved worked abroad in any capacity, as our web site emphasizes work more than the Magazine and pays better…

  5. Will defn keep your website in mind, for next time. This piece is almost committed to Jeff! sorry. But thanks for this post, I am sure it will help a lot of us here.

  6. Dusty, just so you know Transitions Abroad is also a print magazine. Since Gregory is interested, it might be worth it to have a chat with him on email about other potential articles he’d be keen to look at or put in the line up. 🙂

I love it that editors are talking to writers about assignments on this site. Keep it up!
